The body is fabricated with high quality/tested M.S. Plates. A prime quality steel or other superior quality steels is used and proper reinforcement is provided with necessary horizontal and vertical members to withstand the shock and thrust on the body.
Body is of M.S. fabricated and is properly annealed. The lever fitted is either steel fabricated or steel casting. The lever is fabricated of M.S. plates and M.S. pipe consisting M.S. pin in the pipe. The pin is pivoted at both the ends.
The eccentric shaft is machined out of high tensile alloy steel and due eccentricity is maintained and fitted in the center in the pitman.
Pitman assembly consists of main body pipe, eccentric shaft and four nos bearings, pitman ends are fitted in brackets holding bearing and covers and extreme ends are inserted in two nos. fly wheels at both the sides.
Normally the toggle bearings are M.S. or casted in manganese steel.
Jaw plates are conforming to I.S. 276 grade III containing 12 to 14% manganese.
Fly wheels are of high grade cast iron, machined all over and properly balanced. One fly wheel is grooved for V belt and both wheels are interchangeable. Fly wheels ensure steady crushing force, giving control to unsymmetrical forces.
Toggle block & Viz Block
C.I. Machined toggle block and Viz block are provided in the rear portion of the jaw body to control the thrust in that direction.
